I bought this and the Perky Pet Oasis feeder, and had the Hummingbirds coming right away! Very clear instruction, very easy to use, and seems to be a favorite for the birds. I have used other nectars in the past, both powder and liquid, and have never had good results. This is a winner! Being concentrated means it will last longer...you use three parts water to one part nectar, no adding sugar or heavy mixing. Just swirl the liquids and add to the feeder - instant action and bird satisfaction!

you can get this in any store for half the price. nothing special about it, the packets you mix yourself are just as effective

There is some scientific testing showing red dye may cause tumors in hummingbirds. Why take a chance? The red is just marketing. PLEASE don't fall for marketing. Plain white sugar is better for the birds and your wallet. Makes you angry that the company cares more about looks than the birds lives, doesn't it? Makes me angry to see people ignoring the warnings.

I'm amazed at how quickly the hummingbirds are going through this nectar! It's easy to use -- fill the feeder 1/4 of the way full with the nectar and the rest of the way with water, and the price is reasonable.

Hummingbirds are wonderful flying jewels and it's a real treat to have them come to your home to feed. Having red on your hummingbird feeder is enough to attract them; having red chemical dye in their food is totally, and I mean totally, unecessary. They will readily take clear nectar made of only table sugar (1 part) and water (4 parts) and it won't hurt them. Red coloring may hurt them. Now you don't want to do that do you?

I am a first timer when it comes to hummingbirds. I followed the directions and got results. At first only a few hummingbirds came by the first few days but afterwards I saw more of them more frequently. I learned how to make my own mixture but I still use two capfuls of this product for color, it makes it easier to see when the container is empty.

Here is rural New Mexico we have a large humingbird population. At the height of the humingbird season it is not unusual to have as many as 20 birds feeding at one feeder. We go through about a gallon of this humingbird nectar daily.

I've tried 6 different types of hummingbird food - different colors, mixes (add water, add sugar, boil, ready-made, etc.). This is the only one I've tried that consistently and quickly attracts hummingbirds, regardless of season. Two of the types I've tried, the birds actively avoid. Three of them find moderate use. First Nature is far and above the choice of hummingbirds, every week and every season. It's been inconsistently present at local hardware stores, so I'm shifting to ordering it online. I want my "hummers" back.

There is NO scientific evidence that this food is harmful to hummers. I have been using it for years and it is the BEST EVER! They love it. I have used many other brands and made my own too, but none can compare. All the hummers in my area and extremely healthy and active. The person that said this food is bad for birds is spewing garbage and she knows nothing. The hummers have spoken and this is the clear winner.

I bought this along with a hummingbird feeder for my step-mom's bday. It arrived a day before or after the feeder, and she got it in time for her bday.

The package of sunflower seeds arrived within a timely fashion, and I feel that they are a quality product. They taste great, and I know that I made the right decision in ordering them.

I gave this product a Four Star Rating only because I had nothing to compare it too. This was the first time I had tried Sunflower Seeds. I have been eating properly: fruits, vegetables ect. for the last 30 days. A co-worker had me add Sunflower seeds to my diet. I have only lost 3 lbs, but I have lost 2 1/2 inches off my waist without exercising in the last 30 days. So for me this product is great.

It is hard to describe the exact flavor of these little guys, but it is sort of grassy perhaps? Get some and find out! They are a dry like a baked chip, but not crispy exactly. I add them to salads. They don't get soggy in dressing, so it works well for me. If you haven't tried them before, give them a shot. Their flavor and texture is pretty unique, so I am sorry to not be able to give more comparison. They aren't like anything else I have ever had...

Based on the reviews here, I bought this. Very good product and a good buy.

I love Bob's Red Mill products, but we have a boy who is seriously allergic to cashews. This product is manufactured on equipment that also processes tree nuts (including cashews--I called the company.) That's not readily apparent on the package, however, and it is too darned bad that this great company has yet to wake up to the continuing rise in the numbers of kids with food allergies. I hope that they someday take the organic and natural wagon one step further. Great product, but not worth the dire risk to my son.

I recently tried sunflower seed butter from the local grocery store and fell in love with the stuff. Finding it for half of the price on amazon made me even happier.

It tastes just like peanut butter but it is safe for those with a peanut allergy (it is sunbutter). Delicious.

This is a great product for people with nut allergies. It a peanut butter alternative that has the same texture and nutritional value as peanut butter. If you like the taste of sunflower seeds then you should like the taste of Sunbutter. It was a lifesaver for our family when 2 of my 5 children were diagnosed with severe nut allergies. They specifically test each batch for traces of peanuts and tree nuts. We have used sunbutter on sandwiches and in baked goods. We use it all of the time and we buy it in bulk so we never run out.

The description states that this SUNBUTTER is organic with NO added ingredients, which is it NOT. This is the regular Sunbutter Spread with sugar, mono dyglercides, salt, etc. However, it is very YUMMY! And the price of twenty dollars and change (for 6 jars) is very good these days! We keep it chilled in the refrigerator to preserve freshness once the jar is opened, and because it thickens the spread, which is thin at room temperature. These 16 oz jars contain 280 tablespoons of spread and the nutritional info on the label states that 1 tablespoon has: 100 calories, 8 grams of fat, 3.5 grams protein, 60 mg of sodium (very low sodium), 3.5 grams carbs, 2 grams of fiber, and zero trans fat, zero cholesterol. Naturally contains zinc, niacin, iron, magnesium, copper and vitamin E. A VERY tasty spread, tho Organic would be better. Product of the USA so it meets all USDA guidelines.

I occasionally buy bags of these at sheetz when I have the chance, I love their taste! A perfect blend of spices and soaked in genuine jim beam whiskey! A taste all their own! Buying them in bulk is more convenient and a better bargain by far!

I love sunflower seeds and eat a lot. I try a lot of different brands and flavors. These are the best BBQ flavored seeds. Try them and you will see that I'm right. For other flavors, I recommend different brands so I'm not sold on any brand.

found them at a truck stop and fell in love, could not find them where i live so i ordered them thru amazon. they where fresh and good.

I stumbled on these Jim Beam sunflower seeds at a local convenience store and found them a great alternative to regular sunflower seeds. They were hard to find locally, and began buying through Amazon by the case. Great flavor, great quality, and great savings. I will continue to purchase these seeds instead of just the old regular ones.

As a Baseball, Softball and Soccer dad, seeds are a staple at games. Was loyal to David's Ranch, until these were stumbled across. With an outstanding unique flavor, these seeds are simply the best! My family and I are sold and have become Jim Beam brand loyal. We buy by the case for best value.

I was very upset when Breath Assure took their product off the market or modified it to a breath mint instead of the parsley seed oil capsules that was the original product. Since I cannot smell my own breath, I can't vouch for how effective it is if I was breathing on someone really close. However, when I eat more potent or pungent foods, I take the Good Breath capsules and don't have that sensation of "tasting" it all day. I assume that means if I don't sense the lingering sensation of the food backtracking from my digestive track, that it also is less noticable on my breath.
