I might have gotten a defective product, because mine does not drain. Water wont go in either. I tried pouring water into the jar (slowly) through the top and it pooled and spilled over the side. I tried to make sprouts and the water barley dripped out. I tilted it several different ways to drain and water just trickled out. The holes just seem too small.

These are nice and work as intended. But the holes in the lid top are large enough for a fruit fly (and 100 of his friends) to squeeze through. Maybe you don't have fruit flies in your house. Maybe you do, like me. Personally I have not been freaked out too much by this, but I did cut some squares of cheese cloth to put under the lids. So I'm back to cheese cloth. So what did I buy these for? Well, I didn't know about the fruit fly issue. Nobody told me. So now you know.

I have wide mouth Kerr jars and this fit perfectly! Just throw them and the jar into the dishwasher when done.

Before buying this strainer lid I was using cheese cloth on top of my Mason jars. That was much more trouble than it was worth. These lids are a perfect fit and work well with the largest and smallest seeds/beans! Great product!

A little slow on draining because of the nature of the plastic vs. stainless screen. But the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and I plan to buy 4 more.

I bought this as a gift to give my down syndrome niece. She has watched it so many times and she has favorite parts that make her laugh. Great movie.

i just want to say that i know that my daughter will like this. she has them all on vhs. now that she has a dvd player she wanted me to get them on dvd's for her

It's not often you can say a sequel is better than the original, but I prefer Beethoven's 2nd to the original. It's probably because I saw it at a certain age, what with Ryce discovering boys, I really identified with it. (Even though I couldn't get a boy to look twice at me back then.) This movie pretty much sticks to the same formula as the original, with Beethoven the main focus - Beethoven gets a girlfriend, Beethoven doesn't use contraception, Beethoven becomes a daddy, Beethoven becomes a single daddy, Beethoven gets girlfriend back. You've heard it all before haven't you? There's a couple of silly & forgettable subplots here - Missy's mistress (try saying that when you've had a couple!), Ryce's potential boyfriend, the brother's potential love interest, and the Newtons' air freshener thing. Really, there's not much else to say about it. It's a happy movie, it's sweet, and then you'll put it away until the next time you see a St Bernard.

The movie is corny, implausible and poorly acted, but the puppies are incredibly cute! Little kids will love this movie if just for the puppies. If you have young children you want to keep entertained, Beethovens' 2nd will hold their attention. Afterwards, your kids will probably start bugging you to get them a puppy.

Now that the lovable St. Bernard Beethoven is enjoying life with his new masters,the Newtons,he begins to start a family of his own,biologically. Beethoven impregnates a female St. Bernard named Missy and the canine couple sire four puppies. One of is named Tchaikovsky,after another late classical music great. First,George Newton(Charles Grodin) objects to Beethoven in the Newtons' home,then objects to the mutt's offsprings. The Newton family agreed to find homes for the puppies after they've grown. George's wife Alice(Bonnie Hunt) is now working with her husband at his air freshener factory. One memorable scene is where the Newtons take a vacation up in the mountains,with Beethoven in tow,of course. Missy belongs to a mean-spirited young woman named Regina(Debi Mazar) who is going through a divorce. After the divorce is final,Regina's now-ex-husband is granted sole custody of Missy. The ex-hubby and Missy visit the Newtons in the last scene. This film would one of Grodin's last. Subsequently,he co-starred with Martin Short in CLIFFORD. Grodin's previous films include SEEMS LIKE OLD TIMES,IT'S MY TURN,MIDNIGHT RUN and TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS.

only 4 of the 6 pods actually grew. the other two just molded. How old are these seeds?

I have not been very happy with this product. The Basil is growing great but everything else has barely sprouted. I do think I will get much else other than the Basil.

Love this product! Easy to use. Great results. Nice way to keep fresh greens handy.

i set up my aero garden in december. i now have beautiful flowers growing in the middle of february. how cool is that?

The aerogarden salad greens kit is phenomenal -- we planted ours on the 12/22 -- today is 1/11 -- and already it looks ready to be eaten!!

So far we have grown herbs, lettuce, tomatoes... always easy. Cleaning is easy. Purchased a 3rd party nutrient system and things really took off. I find it optimal to add water every other day, or some pods don't get enough. Otherwise, slam dunk! Great product, great company.

Today is June 29th and I began this adventure on March 1st, 4 months ago and the production expectancy for this set. The sprouting was slow, but the CS Rep from AeroGrow suggested I be patient. He said they would really take off once they sprouted. Well, they did and we were off to the races. So far, 1 mini jalapeno and 1 purple super hot have bit the dust completely. The second mini jalapeno grew huge but never produced a single pepper. Two of the purple super hots are still alive, but have never even produced a flower either. Both of the red fires are lush and have produced a total of 10 peppers so far. Considering the cost of electricity, the kit, the extra nutrients which needed to be purchased because there are not enough included, the replacement light kit, and the hours upon hours of talking to, touching, fertilizing by movement and a tiny hand held fan (CSR's suggestion) These are the most expensive peppers I've ever consumed. I'm thinking of transplanting these into my garden plot to see if they ever produce. I have one more seed kit (herbs) which I'm going to give a try and then I'm going to give up on this, and I'm not going to buy another set of bulbs even though it's advised. If you want alot of leaves which you do not consume, then this is the seed kit for you. I, on the other hand, wanted something to use in the kitchen.

This is growing fine but I have the 3 pod model and the tomato plant is so tall that it is burning itself on the light. It said this plant was compatible with the 3 pod model but I'm not so sure....

Only two of the seven herbs grew. I was not satisfied with this product.

Product states you can harvest after 3 weeks and keep harvesting for four months, but only enough nutes for 2 months. Liquid nutes come need to m]be mixed well before used because some nutes turned into a solid in the corner in the small bag. Will update as time goes on.

Gave a three-pod system with a cherry tomato seed kit as a gift. Nowhere in the description was it mentioned that only ONE seed pod came with the kit! Feels like a big rip-off! Yes, the tomatoes will take up more space than a petunia, but the company should warn people that the tomato kit only has one plant. Considering the price, you can get a lot of tomatoes at the store!

We have had a couple of these with our 3 pod garden. Recently bought the herb kit to grow. Of the three pods, the chives we a dud. Have had the cherry tomatos in the past with great results. Just a bit bummed that the pod failed to grow. I will try contacting Aerogarded.

We bought our Aerogarden at Christmas. It is now May and we have a whopping one cherry tomato that is almost ripe. The tomato plant grew quickly and in fact the leaves keep getting burned by the grow light because it is so tall. There are some other blooms on the plant now but at this rate our regular outdoor garden will be producing before we get any tomatoes off of this. (We thought it would be a great way to get tomatoes during the winter). We did Basil in another Aerogarden and it did fine so maybe we just got a bad plant.

When I read the description, I assumed there was 3 pods of seeds in the kit. I had bought these as a gift for Christmas and when the person opened them up, there was only one pod of seeds in them. The description is very bad and does not depict what you are really buying.

When I opened this packaging, I was more than a little surprised to discover only ONE seed pod and two spacers. Not at all what I was expecting based on my experience with the prior sets I'd received for about the same price which included three seed pods and three spacers. Now I have to order two more in order to fully use my aerogarden?? And to second what another poster mentioned: nutrient packets had a LOT of moisture -- evidence of poor packaging and/or poor storage. Disappointed that I can't start my next crop....

I couldn't enjoy the effects, because it turned out I was allergic to the product (it gave me hives), but I can say this -- it tastes *disgusting.* It's tastes like concentrated grass. If you like to drink juiced wheatgrass you might not mind the flavor. For me, there are plenty of other Omega-3 rich foods that don't taste nearly as nasty. This product is also prohibitively expensive, and expires after only a month. Just not worth it!

Delivery was fast, packaged well, seems to be a good product, will use it for spring garden.

I was given an Earthway seeder. It only had one plate and we wanted to plant a large plot with soybeans to imrove the soil. The seeder seemed like it would be the fastest way to plant the field and maintain rows, etc. The plates did fit the seeder You can't really talk about these plates without talking about the seeder. Many people swear by them. I didn't have much luck. I had 1/10th acre of fresh tilled ground. It was kind of lumpy. Before using the seeder you need to make the seed bed as smoothe as possible. Being a freshly converted meadow, it would have taken much repeated tilling, a disk harrow and a lot more work than I was willing to put in. The seeds need to remain dry, and the seeder needs to be constantly monitored to ensure seeds are being picked up and dropped by the seeder. Under ideal conditions this might have worked well. Under my conditions it was more trouble than it was worth.

Good quality seeds......a pound goes a long way. Nice combination of seeds. This combination does have a flavor zing. I don't know if its a radish or broccoli seeds that add the spicy flavor. Very tasty.

Have started sprouting again and am enjoying these seeds. I use them in my salads and sandwiches. They add a good crunch and help with a flavor bite. The amount of radish seeds seem to give the right spice to the mixture.

delicious mix, fast shipping, i weighed it when i got it and it was ever so slightly over a pound, so i'll buy again!

I've just gotten back into sprouting again. This is the best seed product I've used yet. The seeds sprout quickly, are all fertile and produce great sprouts. Highly recommend.

They grow well in my sprouter and the taste great. Sometimes I just eat them plain.

Overall a nice blend, but given the different sizes of the seeds, the sprouting ratio was a bit mixed. Taste was good, might prefer the seeds not in a blend, which is what I will try the next time I buy seeds. Used them with the sprout house and it worked well.

The sprouts available at the market are old and slimey by day 2. With these sprouts you can have them at your convenience and they are 100 times crunchier and healthier. Where I work we have a salad bar and I just take my own container of sprouts that I am so proud of. Truthfully, my 16 yr old grows them, I just pay for them and enjoy.

I let these beans sprout for 3 days before I eat them as a snack. Very healthy.

I'm new to sprouting, and thought I would give these a try. I was very successful--great fun!

What can I really say about seeds? They were shipping quickly and they grew To sprout your own seeds follow these easy steps 1) Soak the seeds overnight in warm water 2) Place the seeds in a strainer - place a saucer under the strainer - place a 1 lbs weight on the seeds, this is very important for quick growth, I usually full up a bowl with water to use a s a weight - place a towel over the strainer to keep out light - place in a well ventilated place 3)Rinse the seeds 3 times a day, and let them drip dry 4) after 3-4 days the seeds will push up the weight and will be bean sprouts 5) when they begin to grow leaves they are done, and place in the refrigerator to halt growth. - 1 ounce seeds, makes 1 lbs sprouts

I sprouted these seeds and was surprised at how quickly they grew. I used them in a stir fry and also in an egg pancake. Very good.

I am just beginning to try an d eat a more healthy diet and am still at the stage of discovering if I loke the recipes I have for this product. Not ready to comment any more than this.
