I'm happy with the deal I got with this product. It's a great way to watch teas bloom. I really like that I can put the teapot on the stove to keep it warm. The one thing I don't like is that it is a bit difficult to pour. You have to turn the entire teapot upside down to get the last bit of tea out, and must hold the lid on so it doesn't fall off. Next time I might spend a little more to get a teapot with a spout from the bottom. Other than that, this product is nice, and the tea is good.

i wrote in another review the same thing. but the tea is amazing, it's beautiful and DELICIOUS!!! o boy was it delicious i refilled it about 4 times in my 5 cup holder and you can only keep it for 24 hours - it probably was mild not as strong because i kept refilling it so much but wow! if you can find this product for cheaper price please do! but i am very satisfied ! and the tea pot is so cute!!! ... yes it is true that it takes a while for the water to filter through the dry tea when putting it into that cup ... and the tiny holes will get dirty but theres nothing an ear stick wont get out.. i hope you understand this review!! goodluck!! :]

I love the tea pot, it's very cute. My 3 year old called it a beautiful ocean. It's exactly what I was expecting based on product description, reviews, and pictures. I'm new to loose leaf tea brewing and was looking for a teapot for that purpose. I came across flowering tea and thought it looked amazing and so I spent a lot of time looking for a teapot that would serve both purposes. I am very happy that this one can be used on the stove (I wasn't sure about stovetop until it arrived--and it says right on the box that you can) and in the dishwasher. I prefer the look of a traditional teapot with a long spout, but as far as cleaning and usefulness I think this one is much nicer. It is sturdy, but still more delicate than I pictured based on reviews I read; however, it seems like a great value for the price, especially with the flowers included. I've only had it for one day, so it's still a bit awkward and I'm trying to develop a routine. Takes more effort and planning than just using a prefilled tea bag. The flowers are pretty and have a nice flavor, but I'm the only tea drinker, so it's kind of a lot for just me to drink. You can refridgerate them after each use and steep up to 3 times; but I actually left it on the table as a centerpiece and refilled the water after I drank some. Then, when I wanted to steep a second time I just put the whole thing on the stove and heated to 180F--I don't know if this is a good procedure, but it tasted just fine to me. Delivery was fast, and packaging was great. I'm very pleased, and am enjoying a new experience in tea brewing.

I purchased this tea pot for my adult granddaughter. She loves it and is enjoying using the teas that blossom in the middle of the teas pot. I would purchase it again for someone else.

Primula tea sets are both beautiful and tasty. The clear pot allows you to see the bulb unfold into a beautiful flower. The Jasmine tea is delicious. I enjoy making tea for my friends. They enjoy the fascinating unfolding of the flower and taste of the tea. Thank you.

The plant in the picture looks so much greener and healthier than what I received in the mail today. The pot is a very inexpensive 'growers' pot, and does not add at all to the over-all look and appeal of this half-dead plant. My plant contains two braided brown trunks with no foliage, and three yellowish stalks with yellowed leafs. The 'braid' is held together at the top with a green bread twist-tie. Over all, I wish I had spent a little more money and ordered a better plant from a different supplier, and I should have made sure the pot was nice enough to keep the plant in for some time while adding to the decor of my home. With the ill-health of this plant, I am afraid to upgrade the planter/pot as I might further stress this suffering little thing. Maybe this one should have been called the "waste of money tree'. If you really want one of these, look elsewhere - this one is just not worth it.

I ordered 2 of these. They arrived 4 days after I placed the order, which is the fastest I've ever received anything (that was with standard shipping as well). I should have paid more attention to the pot the seller was sending them in. It's nothing more than a flimsy container. I will be going to the store to buy new pots for them today. The plants arrived in great condition, they look awesome. I would totally order this item again.

My daughter (7yo) wanted a little tree for her room. We thought this one had the best combination of hardiness, size, smile appeal, and ease of care. We were a little concerned based on past reviews about how healthy the plant would be when it arrived. I'm happy to say, the tree was/is healthy, packed well, and exactly as described. My daughter named it "Lucky". Seems like a good value.

I have several plants of all kinds. Plant did well for about a month or two then two out of the five braids died. It looks pretty sparse with part of the braid missing. Never has flourished. Rather dissappointed.

the plant was shipped promptly with excellent packing and is just as described very full of healthy appearing leaves best of all my cats have sniffed it and not found it edible

I purchased this product (2) based on previous reviews.
I received the 2 grow lights in good condition but one burned out when I accidentally jiggled the plug in the outlet trying to unplug it, because there is no switch. You have to plug it in or unplug it to turn it off.
I contacted the manufacturer to try and purchase a new power converter but have received no response.
I am disappointed with the size of the grow light. I am starting veggies and this light only shines on half of a standard long tray. So I have to move the tray left and right to get all the plants some light throughout the day.

I went to the supermarket and picked up 2 18inch flourescent lights that mount under the counter and I replaced the bulbs with full spectrum flourescent bulbs. Total cost was less than $25. I can illuminate 2 long trays of veggie starts with 2 under counter lights rigged on a shelf and the veggies are growing just as well as with this led grow light. Though I have not tested it scientifically with 1 tomato under the led and one under the flourescent.

If you purchase this grow light, plug it into a power strip so you have a switch to turn it on and off without unplugging it. Its a huge help.

This is a very nice and effective light. It performs as the manufacturer says it will. But wait for the punchline. I bought two of them through Amazon from a merchant called New England Hydroponics. I received them promptly and they perform very well. More recently, I wanted to buy two more lights. This time the only merchant listed for the item was Flora Hydroponics, located in Georgia. The item was listed In Stock. I ordered the lights, the order was confirmed and I received an email the following day from Amazon stating that the order had shipped from Flora Hydroponics. Then I waited. And waited. After an inordinately long estimated range of shipping dates (eight days) had passed, I finally called the merchant. Here is what I learned:

Flora Hydroponics did not have the item in stock. In fact, they NEVER have the item in stock. I learned it was to be drop-shipped from the manufacturer in Ohio (I am in Ohio, too--eight days?). So, the manufacturer had not shipped the item. They still have not shipped the item. Wanna know why? They don't have any to ship. So, the fact is, I received a confirmation of shipment from a vendor who never actually ships this item and who claimed not to even know that the manufacturer didn't have any to ship! (No tracking information, by the way; imagine that.)

Beyond all this, this entire feedback system is flawed: this item has average feedback of 4 1/2 stars, all of which was earned by a good product, but through a *different* vendor. I wouldn't expect many people to recommend this more recent arrangement. I believe you can tell I'm not recommending it. (Furthermore, if it turns out that this is not a direct violation of Amazon's vendor rules, I won't be able to recommend Amazon itself anymore, either.) Bottom line, five stars for the product and one star for the vendor averages out to one star for the whole transaction.

We live into a downtown apartment and used these lamps to correct a "leggy" seedlings issue we had using windows.

See my blog about it:

[...]

These lamps worked as described.

What's more, I have them setup in my office, and they hardly create any heat at all, which is really good.

For compact inside the house setup, these rules. Enjoy!

i took the chance on this LED technology. so far the growth has been much superior than i expected.

I liked this product. I am buying another. The light was very easy to set up. It is cool and light. My tomatos are doing well so far,but as they get bigger I think I will need another light.

Okay, this is a definite period piece. I'm sure it won't appeal to many who don't have fond memories of the period. But for what it's worth, this is a little gem of the late 60s.
Tony Burrows lead vocals are great, as are the harmonies.

The FlowerPot Men are a forgotten piece of the 1960's "Lets go to San Fran" is a great song however there are honestly some other great gems on this CD. As the material progresses you can see that the music was shifting direction. It starts out as kind of light psychadelic art rock, only to become a early formation of THE EDISON LIGHTHOUSE singng syrupy sweet bubble-gum ballads of the early 1970's. One point of interest is the fact that the Flowerpot Men used the Mellotron. This doesn't sound too strange until I realized that they they were on Deram records. Huh! TheMOODY BLUES were also on Deram records, were the FLOWERPOT MEN using Mike Pinders' Mellotron after hours??The songs were very ambitious however, the recordings are dreadfully muddy. However the album is still very enjoyable.

I love the PotLifter product! It made moving a large potted plant up three flights of stairs easier. Actually, it made the task even possible. The product is well made and comes with its own storage bag. You just slip it around the pot and lift.

Just what my husband and I needed to move some new, large pots with weight and hard to grip sides. How did we live without this tool for so long. It has a storage bag, too. It works just like the picture. Sturdy and should hold up for a very long time.

Even with good lifting techniques, it's hard to lift heavy plants with branches in your face and more weight than one person should lift. This device permits two people to work together comfortably to lift and move large pots or other heavy objects. Even straight-sided objects can be lifted, because the straps have a rubberized surface, but it works best on objects with sides that are somewhat tapered or textured, so that the straps grab the surface and do not slip. This is a well-engineered tool and a huge back-saver.

This thing is worth it's weight in gold. Bought it to move a Big Green Egg grill that was impossible with just my wife and I. Bought this, and we were able to move it around like it was 10 pounds.

Seriously, the person that invented this should get a freakin medal.

I have to admit, I was skeptical, but this really worked and made life easier moving heavy plants into the house for the winter. I thought I would use it just myself as well, but it is truly a two person tool

The blooms in the water were beautiful, but the tea itself hada very gritty, almost "earthy" taste to it which i didnt like. I used them to make interesting centerpieces because when they bloom its gorgeous, but I owuld not suggest actually trying to drink this stuff. Plus some of the "petals" get loose and float to the top which make it have that "gritty" taste.

Reviews

I purchased two sets of the blooming jasmine and green flower teas as Christmas gifts. The recipients were thrilled to have received such interesting presents. Both of them raved over the uniqueness and fantastic tastes of the teas. The only negative with these gifts is that it will be a little more difficult to purchase something these hard to buy for relatives will find as delightful this next Christmas!

I got these as a gift for my mom, who is an avid tea drinker. The blooms opened and were not nearly as pretty as I thought they'd be. They looked more like seaweed. The taste was terrible, granted, I only tried the jasmine, maybe the green tea is better.

The tea tastes decent (I have tried the jasmine so far), but I wasn't as thrilled by the presentation. I was expecting a breathtaking and colorful bloom. Instead, I poured the water over the tea ball, and it just floated lazily to the top. As the hot water soaked in, the bland colored tea leaves slowly opened and revealed...a wad of more bland colored tea leaves in the middle. It eventually sunk to the bottom and sat there looking like a hunk of pond weeds. The only color whatsoever was a few tiny pink petals that floated on the top of the water. Someone walked into the room and asked (with a trace of disgust), "What is that? A sea anemone?"

So, if you just want to drink a delicate tea, these would be fine. But don't expect to the wowed by the blooming action.

The tea arrived quickly and beautifully packaged. It was perfect for a gift, and I kept some for myself. It is absolutely delicious. I will definitely order again. The price is much better than most others I've found.

I fell in love with flowering green teas from our local tea shoppe, but I was very dismayed with the price ($4/ball!!!).

I was elated to find this listing since it amounts to about $1.50 per tea ball and it tastes great, better than what we get at the fancy store. It has a light delicate flavor that doesn't get bitter at all! You can make five pots of tea without degradation of flavor or any increase in bitterness.

Highly recommended!

I bought this on a whim and was I ever surprised to see how many creative, easy and fun ways there are to decorate a terra cotta pot. Many of them use "found" materials, like the foil wrappers from fancy candies, or leaves and branches found in parks and yards. I've already made plans to make quite a few of these for next years holdiay giving and know they will be a big hit.

Excellent reference for one that has the yearning to be creative with paints. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and the book is full of wonderful examples and colorful pictures. My back porch is going to look so colorful with my potted artwork. I used three of the pots (stamped plaids shown on the back cover of the book) inside my house and made silk flower arrangements in them. I highly recommend it!

Good book. Useful information for making this quilt.
I had to purchase the book to make the "free" pattern the author offered as not all the directions were included in the "free" pattern to download.

Cindy Lammon's FLOWER POTS is a fun pick for block-of-the-month clubs or for individual projects and offers a fun quilt project based on garden flower designs. Close-ups of blocks based on flowers and flower pots make for clear instructions any quilter will appreciate.

One quilt from seven blocks and flowers that never die is what you will get in FLOWER POTS. Using these blocks, you can create the quilt that Ms. Lammon intended. Or you can be even more creative and make a combination of your own with one, two or three (or more!) of the blocks.

Six pages of basic instructions begin FLOWER POTS. Things like pressing, folded triangles and ways to do appliqué are found here. The pattern begins with a materials list that will create the whole quilt. Each block pattern gives the cutting list for that block along with a finished photo of the block.

Instructions on how to put the block together follow with large, easy to follow graphics. The assembly of the quilt has its own cutting list and how to assemble each row. The final pages provide all the templates needed to create your flower blocks and even better, they are full sized so no need to enlarge them. The final page is a short bio of Ms. Lammon.

This small book gives you lots of possibilities for making more than just the quilt shown.

I received my "Flower Pots" book from Amazon last week--love the book--very colorful-lots of sewing hints-lots of projects--can't wait to get started sewing the patterns.I had bought the first book by this author:"Gathered from the Garden"--it was a well done book also. There is a lot of helpful information passed along with the patterns and great photos.I am very pleased with my purchase. I even purchased another one to send to my friend in California.
